Gary plays a beautiful set of double second Steel Drums with four sticks, allowing him to access a greater register of notes, to play both chords and melody, giving a full sound and ensuring that not only the melodies are known to each song, but its’ entire chord structure and chord progressions (a must for improvisation).
Technology also plays a big part in his solo performances, as he produces all of his backing tracks produced at his home studio, incorporating Caribbean and conventional musical sounds.
